The World Cup has always been the largest stage of world football. For nearly a century of existence, the tournament saw a wide variety of excellence in the coronation. In addition to the team's strength, the World Cup's history is also shaped by special individuals, making such a large mark that just reminding them of their names the same year in the tournament as fans immediately recall a World Cup.

If it had to be the greatest personal performance in the history of the World Cup, many would call Diego Maradona in Mexico 1986.

Argentina built the entire arcade around the 10th Army and he responded in almost perfect form. From the battle of the Korean victory of 3-1, Maradona has become the target of every opponent. The teams tried enough options, from accompanying people to regional defense, but there was no way to stop him.
What is especially so far is that Maradona's best match at the tournament. It was "Goldy Boy" who once claimed that winning 1-0 ahead of Kazakhstan in the 1/8th round was the best performance, because he didn't lose any hand-to-hand play.
However, the final match met with England before being most remembered. In winning 2-1, Maradona scored both goals. The first table is hand-to-hand putting the ball into the net, the most controversial situation in the history of the World Cup, and the second one is considered the most beautiful goal goal-winning table of all time, as he travels from the home-field, passing a series of British players and both goalkeeper Peter Shilton before scoring.

How did Pha 'The Hand of God' make the legend of Maradona controversial?

Many experts, though, claim that the semifinals met with Belgium to show the full level of Maradona, who owned the game completely and scored two beautiful goals with specific technical proceedings.
Maradona's statistics in Mexico 1986 remain shocking. He surpassed 53 competitors with successful pitches, more than second to 37 times. He also scored five goals and created five other goals, record never repeated at a World Cup. In the final meeting of West Germany, despite being closely followed by Lothar Matthaus, Maradona still created Jorge Burruchaga a goalkeeper to help Argentina win.
- Garrincha (Brazil, 1962)
Brazil once owned Pele, the most widely regarded player in football history. But in the 1962 World Cup, the man who took Brazil to the title again was Garrincha.
Born with a foot shorter than his leg about 6 cm left, Garrincha had a strange appearance but possessed extraordinary ability to turn the ball and pull the speed. If at the 1958 World Cup, he was mainly acting as traditional wing quarterback, then four years later Garrincha became much more comprehensive.

He developed the ability to use his left foot, regularly sticking to the highway to take a shot, and at the same time benefited in non-war situations. At the four ends met with England, Garrincha scored a goal with his head and a superseded with his right foot. From the knock-out round, the Argentinan captain played his best football. Before Australia, he had just regulated the match, scoring the score open. Four. Mario Kempes (Argentina, 1978)
Mario Kempes had a special bond with the World Cup, he ran in the 1974 league and started slowly at the 1978 World Cup on his home field.
However, when the tournament entered the critical period, Kempes broke out. He doubles the Polish net, then continues to set a double in the 6-0 win before Peru, which opened the score before Peru in particular when Kempes coordinated the wall, crossed the rear guard and finished the goal.
In the final meeting with the Netherlands, Kempes opened the score of ice down the score after the long pass. In terms of a comprehensive level, Kempes may not have reached as large as Maradona or Messi. But at the 1978 World Cup, he was a central figure, carrying Argentina in the most important matches to bring home the first championship to this team.
Five. Romario (Brazil, 1994)
Brazil champions the 1994 World Cup by playing a game much more practical than previous generations of gold. In the 4-4-2 chart pretty tight, the creative mission was almost entirely delivered to the Romario and Bebeto front pair.

This conversion did it. He scored at all three rounds of the board, including a subtle tip of his shoe into the Swedish net. At the direct elimination round, Romario continued to strike before the Netherlands in the four-final and scored the only goal for Brazil to defeat Sweden at the semi-finals.
It is notable that all five of Romario's goals at the league were in the opening score. In a short-winned World Cup and watching Brazil compete in caution, Romario's ability to make a difference became more prominent.
He did not achieve the best condition at the final meeting with Italy and did not leave a decisive moment. Brazil, however, remained in office after the period series, and Romario was considered the most important factor in the championship journey.
