The conflict between the U.S. - Israel and Iran had moved on Friday, but there was no sign of an end. The U.S. and Israeli leaders of the past few days have all been referring to their Iranian raid campaigns that may last for weeks. The conflict even spread to many Middle East countries, which interrupted the production and transport of crude oil in the area.

Iraq has reduced its capacity of 1.5 million barrels per day as it runs out of storage when no ships arrive. Qatar also stops producing liquidized natural gas (LNG) due to ships not being able to pass [to Hormuz Sea] (htpts ://nvreexpress.net/nang-nang-nang-nung-tau-tac-dong-mmnh-khiran-dong-dong-eun-horh Khutun-hor-hor Khwan46457.hmlh. According to analysis, Kuwait and UAE may be the next countries to have to reduce supply as the storage space shrinks.

These developments caused Brent's crude oil to increase five consecutive versions, over 85 dollars a barrel. U.S. Raw Oil WTI on 5/3 also peaked since July 2024. On 5/3, Reuters quoted close sources stating that Chinese officials have asked these water refineries to cease signing new fuel export agreements, and at the same time seek to negotiate the demolition of pledge shipments. This does not apply to aircraft fuels serving international voyages, oil for ocean ships in foreign archives, or supply to Hong Kong and Macau.

China is the country that provides products from third largest oil in Asia. Even so, the country’s massive oil refinery primarily serves its domestic needs. Even under normal conditions, they do not allow free exports such products as gasoline, diesel and aircraft fuel. The country applied the quota system, through its selecting of several refinery plants and the major trading company to license exports.

Beijing's motion is predicted to make the supply in Asia more secure. China is currently one of the largest fuel export countries in the region.

In Japan, sources of Bloofberg on 5/3 also indicate that at least one of the water refineries destroyed the shipments of gasoline, aircraft fuel and diesel oil expected to export in March to give priority to the country's needs. Japan imported over 90% of the oil from the Middle East, making the water particularly vulnerable to the paralyzing of the Hormuz Channel.

These water refineries are also offering the government permission to access the strategic oil reserves as well as the amount of oil in the reservoirs that are being rented by the countries.

Thailand also announced a delay in exporting refined fuel to countries, except Laos and Myanmar, according to *Bangkok Post. In addition, in order to strengthen the supply security, the Department of Energy requires oil companies to increase the required reserve rate from 1% to 3%, partly through export restrictions.

The following measures may include increasing the biodiesel mix ratio in diesel oil, from 5% to 7% or 10% if the global oil price increases or occurs.

If the supply continues to tighten, businesses are also allowed to enter refined products such as gasoline and diesel, rather than just crude oil. In that case, the Department of Energy can temporarily loosen technical standards. The agency reevaluates the situation after 15 days. If the global energy price was more dynamic, the Oil Fuel Foundation would be used to stabilize water prices.

The Thai government plans to propose a nationwide energy saving campaign at the next week's meeting. The PTT Oil Giant on 4/3 also claimed to hold retail prices of diesel and gasoline for 15 days, aimed at reducing the costs of the people.

♪ Looking for alternative supply ♪

India's refineries have purchased about 20 million barrels of Russian crude oil in the last few days. The South Asian Nation was the leading buyer of Russian oil after the Ukrainian conflict broke out. Over the past few months, these water refineries have recently begun to reduce the purchase under pressure from Washington. However, the U.S. Ministry of Finance agreed to provide immunity to 30 days, allowing New Delhi to purchase Russian oil shipments trapped on the sea.

China is also interested in Russian oil. However, the country has not yet acted because their supply remained abundant. "The Bible bought large amounts of cheap oil before Lunar New Year. So they're probably waiting until the front of the war in Iran becomes clearer", a businessman said.

On 4/3, on Interfax, Russian deputy Alexander Novak announced Moskva was willing to increase oil supply to China and India - their two top buyers now.

Some other countries are seeking to increase business support solutions in the context of narrow energy supply. The Italian foreign minister Antonio Tajani stated that the country was willing to protect its economy and households from the effects of the crisis in the Middle East. They're completing export business support as energy prices rise and sea transport routes are under pressure.

He revealed that the support package would be for all businesses affected by the crisis, because the impact could spread out beyond the energy market, causing pressure on raw materials as well as wheat and grain types.

The European Union (EU) warns member countries of increased gas prices due to conflict in the Middle East. However, after a meeting between the oil coordinators, they did not notice a direct threat to the supply and did not yet plan an emergency response.

Europe currently purchases a majority of the LNG from the US, which significantly reduces the impact prior to interrupting supply from the Middle East. Last year, EU imported only about 8% LNG from Qatar.

Even so, governments have followed closely into the Middle East. In 2022, the Russian - Ukrainian conflict once caused EU to fall into an energy crisis when Russia reduced the gas supply to Europe. Many industries were then forced to close. Governments also have to intervene to protect consumers as the bill increases.
