Betfair rate Kane has 19,6% chance of winning the Golden Ball 2026. Preliminary of PSG Ousmane Dembele, player to the throne last year, ranked second with 14,2%. Arsenal quarterback Declan Rice was third in line with 10.6%.
The claim is based entirely on the club level performance. It can change after the 2026 World Cup, the world's largest team level tournament. The France Football magazine will elect the Golden Ball from August and release the results on June 26.

Kane had just had a brilliant season in Bayern's color, scoring 61 goals, creating seven-time in 51 games, winning Bundesliga, German Cup, German Super Cup, European Yellow Shoes and entering the Champions League semi-finals. If the British team win the World Cup, the team leader is more likely to become the new owner of the Golden Ball.
Dembele did not have the impressive personal record Kane, scoring only 20 goals, creating 11 times in 40 games. However, the player who won the Golden Balls last year left a marked mark on the Champions League's journey with PSG, scoring seven goals in Chelsea, Liverpool, Bayern and Arsenal. He also helped PSG to successfully defend Ligue 1, win the European Super Cup, the French Super Cup and FIFA Intercontental Cup.
