U.S. President Donald Trump once stated that he would re-establish import tax levels, after this policy was repeatedly rejected by the Court and faced many legal challenges. He is making that commitment, but no longer noise and through social media posts at midnight as before.
His new approach to Trump with import taxes was more carefully rated, methodically and more patient. The tools to rebuild this time policy are more targeted and technical, enabling them to remain for a long time.
On June 2, the American Trade Commissioner's Office (USTR) Jamieson Greer announced the results of the months-long investigation, on the policy of partners in preventing production by forced labor. The investigation was carried out according to Article 301 of the 1974 Trade Act. USTC argues that this is bad for America in competition.
The agency proposes to impose 10% on Canadian goods, Ecuador, EU, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, Argentina, Bangladesh, Cambodia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Taiwan, and England. With 45 remaining economies in the investigation, including Vietnam, the additional tax rate was 12.5%.
USTR will have to take public opinion, lasting to 6/7. After a day, the US Trade Commissioner's Office will hold hearings on this proposal.

Related to the level of taxation proposed in addition to Vietnam, responds at regular press conferences regularly at 4/6, the spokesman for the Department of Foreign Affairs said USR investigations "does not reflect the reality and efforts of Vietnam in the prevention of forced labor reduction".
The State Department spokesman asserts Vietnam's consistent stand-up was to ban all forms of forced labor, complying with the rules of the International Labour Organization (ILO), free trade agreements and guarantees carried out in practice.
She said, Vietnam has traded, providing sufficient information during the investigation and will continue to work with the US on the building spirit, cooperating to resolve existing differences, based on bilateral partnerships. This was intended to protect the legal interests of the laborers, the Vietnamese business.
The investigation was released by USTR from March 11. At that time, the agency also stated that it would open another investigation into industrial surplus status at 16 partners, still based on Article 301 on unfair behaviors.
These movements were intended to restore import tax pressure after the U.S. Supreme Court in February[distinguished] (httts www.vnexpress.net/toa-toi-toni-my-bac-boe-doi-ung-gau-song-trump (502558.html) tax types Donald Trump imposed on the International Economic Limitation Act (IEPA). Following the decision of the Supreme Court, Trump signed the decree[citation taxes importing 10%] (htttspvnvexpress.net/nin-ninq-huong-loi-khi-my-ap-hup-hwau-bou-10-hpm-10-hpm-hpm-hp.html) for 150 days, the House of Authority under Article 122.
This 10% tax, though, is only temporary. Mr Trump authorities have signaled they can use the 301st for longer purposes. 301 allows UST to investigate countries that are likely to violate trade agreements or to have destructive behaviors on American businesses. During his first term, Trump used this term to increase taxes with some imports from China, as well as aircraft and other goods from the European Union.
Besides, unlike Article 122, the tax arose from the investigation under the 301 investigation that was not limited to tax levels or the deadline for application. Back in March, Greer stated that he hoped to complete his investigations before the 10% tax level expired in July.
However, last month, the U.S. International Trade Court (CIT) also ruled [upbeats] [htts ://nvreexpress.net/toa-an-my-bac-bo-thue-10-13-ong-trump-5071311.html) US import tax 10%. Day 1-2-3, UST proposed [25 taxation](htttsnvniex.net/chinh-cien-ong-trump-moon-ap-thue-25-vol-hang-brazi 0581391.htm) many of the goods from Brazil, following an investigation according to Section 301. The agency accused Brazil of engaging in "methy" commercial activities and "subscription or commercial restrictions". Early last month, the President of the United States also announced that he would raise import taxes with cars from EU to 25%, as the block did not comply with the trade agreement.
On AP, Ryan Majerus - Trade Lawyer at King & Critics predicts new tax levels will be applied before the current temporary taxes run out. "USTR is under enormous pressure to ensure that there are no gaps in the income source from the import tax. I believe with the current progress, they will finish the job and be ready to apply the new tax on time," he said.
In addition to the proposed new tax, Trump authorities also filed appeals for a federal judge's appeal, requiring the authorities to pay the full $16 billion in tax revenue, according to the IEEPA reference policies.
The authorities have begun to pay these fees since April, but stated that it will not immediately pay the tens of billions of dollars of taxes, including complex payments which the import unit has not sued the government. It is not yet clear when the system will open for all the payment in the total.
In addition, the government appealed to the decision to request the Office of Customs and Protection of the U.S. Borders Rodney Scott hearing about the government's repayment process. In the appeal, the authorities proposed other officials that they said had a deeper understanding of the taxation process.
