When Mexico went out to meet South Africa at Estadio Azteca on 11/6, Mora was only 17 years old for 7 days.
Even so, Mora was not the youngest to ever go to court in the history of the World Cup. The record belonged to Norman Whiteside (January Ireland), who entered the courtyard in the match to meet Yugoslavia on 17/6/1982 when only 17 days old 41 days - the landmark was not broken for over four decades.
The following was Samuel Eto'o (Cameroon), competing against Italy at the 1998 World Cup at the age of 17 days of 99 days, and Femi Opabuni (Nigeria) in the Battle of England at the 2002 World Cup when 17 years of age 101 days.
The under 18-year-old players who had competed in the World Cup also had Salo Olembe (Cameroon, met Austria - January 11, 1899, at 17-year-old 1850 days), Pele (Brazi, met the Soviets - 15/6/1958, 17-year-olds, 17-olds, 244-day-olds), and Rigobert Song (Caloon, meeting Sweden - 20/1994-1994, 17-year-olds, 334 days).

Mora, born at Tuxtla Gutiérrez on 14 October,2008, grew up from Club Tijuana's training oven and was soon rated as one of the most prominent talents in the club. He kicked the quarterback, quickly becoming a phenomenon of home water football due to his ability to read the game, move the ball between the glands, manage in narrow space and make the correct decision to handle it.
After only a few weeks of team practice, Coach Juan Carlos Osorio filled Mora into the 2024-2025 season playlist. Here, he set a number of records as the youngest player ever created at the Mexican Liga MX Championship (15 May 10) or the youngest player scored at the 320-day-old league.
At the team level, Mora used to wear the U15, U16 and U17 Mexican squads, scoring nine goals after 16 games for U15 and once wearing the U17 captain's band at the age of 15. On January 16, 2025, he made his debut at the NFLQG level in the unofficial mating match meeting Internacional (Brazil), becoming the youngest player who ever appeared in Mexican shirt color at 16.

Later, Mora was summoned to the 60 preliminary players list and participated in the 26nd team in CONCACAF Gold Cup 2025. At this tournament, he kicked the main kick at the finals meeting Arab Saudi, thereby becoming the youngest player who ever went to the official field for Mexican Draft. At the semi-finals, Morats helped Mexico win Honduras 1-0, before joining in the final meeting with America, where Mexico won its 10th championship.
Upon raising the Cup at the age of 16 in 265 days, Mora was noted as the youngest player ever to win a national team level tournament, passing the landmarks of Pele or Lamine Yamal.
"We took him to Gold Cup. Through each exercise and outdoor behaviour, we realized that Mora needed to be given the opportunity to compete. It's instinct, very clear. He owns something special. Mora constantly completes his expertise, psychology, and physical health. Currently, we own high-quality players", Mexican coach Javier Aguirre talks about young pupils.

A few months later, Mora continued to be called on to attend the FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile and again raised the echo. At this tournament, he confronted U20 Brazil and scored two goals on the Spanish U20 net, Mexico stopped in the four-finals, but the young quarterback was still highly rated due to the rare skewed versus the age.
The 2026 World Cup on homeyard would be the biggest challenge of Mora's career. Although he had not yet crossed 100 professional matches, he was caught in the eye of a large European series such as Real Madrid, Barca, Juventus or Inter Milan. However, Tijuana has not yet received an official transfer offer for this young talent.
