As of March 6, the U.S. average gas price was $3.32 a gallon (0.88 per liter), rising 11% from a week ago and being the highest from September/2024, according to data of the American Society of Caring (AAAAA). The diesel price was $4,33 a gallon (1,14 per liter), increasing 15% over the previous week and also highest since November/2023.

The fuel price of some areas in the Central and South America, including states that have voted for US President Donald Trump, noted the highest rise since the conflict with Iran occurred. In the state of Georgia, the average sales price increased 40.1 cent a gallon last week, according to GasBuffy fuel prices.

Andrenna McDaniel, health insurance staff at South Fulton (bang Georgia) was surprised to see the price skyrocketed overnight. "They rise too fast," she said. McDaniel currently drives only when necessary and feels fortunate to work at home.

Other states, such as Indiana and West Virginia, also noted the price of gasoline rising by 44,3 cents and 43,9 cents per gallon.

The price of gas and retail diesel in the US skyrocketed as the Middle East conflict interrupted the area's energy supply chain. This may be a trial test with Mr. Trump's Republican Party before the November mid-election.

The 6/3 series, the world's two key crude oils, both across the 90-dollar mark per barrel. Brent crude oil increased $8.5% to US$990,000 a barrel. US WTI crude oil increased 12.2% to $9.9. In total, Brent raises 35%.
