Ông cho rằng Yamal thuộc nhóm thiên tài hiếm có trong bóng đá, nhưng việc so sánh anh với Messi, Maradona hay bất kỳ huyền thoại nào khác là sai lầm lớn nhất.

Dalí và Michelangelo là hai tên tuổi mang tính biểu tượng trong lịch sử nghệ thuật thế giới, thường được nhắc đến như đại diện cho sự sáng tạo thiên tài ở hai thời kỳ khác nhau.
Dalí là họa sĩ người Tây Ban Nha, gắn liền với trường phái siêu thực (Surrealism) thế kỷ 20. Dalí không chỉ gây ấn tượng bởi kỹ thuật hội họa mà còn bởi cá tính lập dị và phong cách sống khác thường.
Michelangelo là nghệ sĩ vĩ đại người Italy thời Phục Hưng, đồng thời là nhà điêu khắc, họa sĩ, kiến trúc sư và nhà thơ. Ông được xem là một trong những thiên tài toàn diện nhất lịch sử nghệ thuật phương Tây. Những tác phẩm tiêu biểu của ông gồm tượng David, bức bích họa trần Nhà nguyện Sistine tại Vatican, và nhiều công trình kiến trúc mang tính biểu tượng. Michelangelo được đánh giá cao nhờ khả năng tái hiện cơ thể con người với độ chính xác và tính biểu cảm vượt trội.

De la Fuente cho biết phòng thay đồ tuyển Tây Ban Nha đang duy trì bầu không khí tích cực. Trong đó, Yamal được hỗ trợ và hòa nhập như mọi cầu thủ khác, bất chấp sự chú ý lớn từ truyền thông quốc tế.
Theo HLV này, Yamal đã sẵn sàng đá chính trong trận gặp Arab Saudi sau khi vào sân 20 phút ở trận hòa Cape Verde, nhưng sẽ được sử dụng thận trọng về thời lượng thi đấu, dự kiến khoảng 55-60 phút tùy diễn biến trận đấu. "Điều tốt nhất là cậu ấy đang sẵn sàng thi đấu. Chúng tôi phải đôi khi kiềm chế Yamal vì cậu ấy rất yêu bóng đá và luôn muốn chơi", ông cho biết.
De la Fuente cũng nhấn mạnh vai trò của ban huấn luyện trong việc đồng hành và định hướng cầu thủ trẻ, thay vì tạo áp lực: "Chúng ta cần giúp cậu ấy trong hành trình này, như cách cha mẹ đồng hành cùng con cái mà không xâm phạm không gian của chúng. Khi còn trẻ, họ vẫn cần lời khuyên".

Ông cho rằng một sai lầm nhỏ ở giải đấu lớn có thể phải trả giá đắt. "Ở những giải đấu kiểu này, bất kỳ sai lầm nào cũng có thể khiến bạn bị loại.
