On June 25, Hola magazine published an interview with Eva Longoria on the occasion of her collaboration with a US delivery service, launching a campaign to serve World Cup fans watching the tournament at home. During the conversation, she shared her views on football and her family's love for the sport.
Eva Longoria, 51, is a long-time football fan and an investor in the Mexican club Club Necaxa, where she is nicknamed "The Boss (La Patrona)". She is also part of the ownership group of the women's soccer team Angel City FC in Los Angeles, co-founded by actress Natalie Portman. For this year's World Cup, Eva Longoria is participating in the Los Angeles Host Committee - one of the 11 US cities hosting the matches. She serves as an official Community Ambassador to help FIFA 2026 impact local culture and communities.
She expects Mexico to make an impact at the World Cup. The actress was born and raised in Texas, USA, but her family roots are in Mexico.
