Brent oil prices increased 10% to about 80 dollars a barrel in OTC transactions (over-the-subscription) the third day. In the meantime, analysts predicted the price could be up to $100 after U.S. and Israeli air raids into Iran.

OTC is the form of direct transactions that occur between the outside of the official exchange floor, through the brokerage system, banking or separate electronic networks. The market doesn't have a focus panel or the mechanism that fits the command publicly, so the price is usually only referenced and can be made very strong due to the low register. In the weekend's setting, when the oil-based floors closed, the OTC oil price reflected the initial expectations of the trading world for political geopolitical events before the official market reopened.

Brent's crude oil, the standard scale of the international market, has increased from the beginning of the year and reached 73 dollars a barrel in the end of 27/2. This is the highest since July 2025.

The delay of the Hormuz Channel by the US and Israeli attacks on Iran increased the price of oil, according to Ajam Parmar, the energy director and oil filter at ICIS. Most of the tanker owners, the large oil corporation and traders have temporarily stopped shipping crude oil, fuel and naturalized gas via [eo Hormov](htpts ://nvexpress.net/207-co-song-dau-khi-o-bien-horh-dong-01-01-01-185.120), after Tehran warns the ship not to travel through this route. More than 20% of global oil is transported through the Hormuz Channel.

"What if the week's opening is close to $100 a barrel and can even cross that threshold if the interruption state at the Channel extends", Parmar said.

Middle Eastern leaders warned Washington that a war with Iran could cause oil prices to exceed 100 dollars a barrel, according to RBC's Helima Croft analyst. Rabobank's analysts were more cautious, assuming that the price would hold over 90 dollars a barrel in short term.
