"States overprecedental and on a wide scale in retail sales show consumers continue to spend heavily, despite high gas prices", chief of Nationwide, Kathy Bostjancic, remarked.

Active retail sales and growth jobs show that the U.S. economy remains fairly stable, despite the shock of Iranian conflict oil, according to the Ministry of Commerce.

On 17 June, the U.S. Federal Reserve Bureau (Fed) [held the interest rate] (httts ://nvnexpress.net/fed-giu-giu-lai-suat-5087016.html) basic 3.5-3,75%. The Fed rated American economic activity "opening at a steady rate despite a high despot level" associated with the Middle East conflict.

Explaining the market growth of retail markets, some economists claim that Americans may have thought that fuel prices were only temporary. Gas prices in the U.S. once skyrocketed at the highest level four years due to the Middle East War, but then dropped the heat and this week dropped to under $4 per gallon.

The growth of the stock market, tax returns also support spending. "Big taxbacks and overall tax reductions for this year's household, combined with recent job growth help reduce negative impact from high gas prices," said Kathy, pointing out.

The other factor is shown to be that consumer dynamics still come mainly from high-income groups, while inflation impacts are heavier on low-income households. In fact, revenues from restaurants and bars - are often considered an important measure of domestic financial health, down to £820% last month.

Over the weekend, the US and Iran reached an agreement to end the conflict and reopen the Hormuz Channel. However, President Donald Trump on 17 June said that it would still be possible to re-wire the air strike if Tehran didn't "do the right thing".

Gus Faucher, chief of the PNC Financial Service, still argues that the next time consumption is leaning toward the negative.

"Most of the strength comes from the stock market. If technology stocks adjust, high-income households will cut spending. In addition, if the conflict in the Middle East resurgents, energy prices can increase and Fed is more likely to increase interest rather than cut," he warned.

Bank of America Institute's data says there is no indication that households must borrow money to maintain their spending. But more people shop more often, seeking discounted programs.

According to NerdWallet survey, 35% of Americans plan to use credit to cover at least part of this month's spending. Mrs Elizabeth Renter, the senior economic expert of NerdWallet, warns this is not a sustainable solution. "If the people continue to increase spending but based on credit cards in the context of high cost of living, the debt raised may become difficult to control," she said.
